Switched 700R4 automatic out of an old 88 GTA into another 88 GTA. Problem is since day one, I have no backup lights. I know there is a connector, (that the guy who made the switch left the connector hanging there), that has 4 prongs on it. To get it to fit into the T5, it looks like it needs to have 2. Anyone know what to do?

 

The 4 prong connector is for the TCC lockup switch. The reverse lights on an automatic......I think are controlled by a switch up inside the car under the shift indicator plate. You'd have to extend the wires out to the tranny and splice a connector on.
