A buddy of mine wants to put a B&M Megashifter in his 92 formula, but of course it wont fit. I've already warned him that B&M shifters are junk, but he insists.
My suggestion to him was to swap out the entire center console with one from a non-formula thirdgen. Does anyone know for sure if this will work?

 

LOL I never INSISTED. :-) Nobody ever told me that before. Now that gives me something to think about. Hopefully somebody will answer this and let me know what i can do.

I have one in my IROC and its is made ot fit the camaros and firebirds. If you ever bring your car by so I can see the paint you can take a look at the shifter.
