I have both trans & engine mounts by Energy. I did experience some increased vibration, although not serious. If you are fussy & drive the car everyday, you may not like it.
I'm not too fussy. Right now i'm breaking the stock rubber ones pretty regularly. I'm thinking that they brand i'm getting is really cheap but it's got a lifetime warranty. Will it be ok to run the ES one with rubber motor mounts? Any possible vibs can't be as bad as the sound that comes from the driveshaft when it crunches the bottom of the tunnel! Thanks for the reply!!

Energy says to replace engine & trans mounts, together. The theory is that the extra flexing at one end would over stress the other. I would think that if you just replaced the engine mounts, the trans mount would go real quick, but the other way around would be okay, at least for a while..

Tranny mount screwed me
Just a comment guys. I neglected to change the tranny mount
immediately after it broke (2times) and it cracked my bellhousing
causing me to replaced with new 700R4 and I think torque arm had a lot to do with that also. Anyway, a painful lesson learned.

The mount comes with what looks like a spacer and you are told this must be fitted. However it lifts the back of the tranny too high and causes a lot of vibration. I could be wrong but I think most guys get better results leaving it off.

I read on here like last year to leave the spacer off so I did. I really don't feel any difference over the stock tranny mount.

I think that the next time i go under the car i will be pullin that spacer out... i have a wicked vibration problem at about 75-95... its not anything else int he driveline! new 3inch DS, new rear, and a new tranny!

Good luck story.
When i put in my ES tranny mount(to replace a broken rubber one) 3 things happened:
1- the car went into gear smoother, no more clunk.
2-It got rid of a vibration I had at about70-80
3- my tranny stopped leaking, must have been bad alignment with the shaft or something, but I haven't lost a drop of fluid since

No problems with mine, either before or after I replaced the motor mounts.

The ES mount with the spacer fitted in my opinion causes too much vibration for day to day driving.
With the spacer removed the mount is like stock up to 70 mph about 2000 rpm, above which vibrations become quite noticeable compared to stock. Kind of reminds me to slow down a bit.
Its not ideal but I'll put up with it as I'm fed up of changing stock mounts.
If you have not removed that spacer you wont believe the difference.

Wow, that is def good news to my ears- i am tired of getting a back massage at 75/80 /2200 rpm... i have an entirely new driveline, and it still hasnt gone away and the tires have been balanced... must be just a harmonics thing.. its a light vibration, not harsh rel harsh, but an annoyance at that.
The instructions say that the spacer plate is there to pre-load the tranny mount. Whatever that means, anyway when I replaced mine I did feal a little more vibration. My car has other poly bushings and the WS6 package makes my car ride a little rougher anyway, so it was no big deal.
