attn pro built - Dana..

Hey Dana.. I finally went and picked up my parts you sent me.. thanks.. anyhow I looked at the parts + instructions real quick and it looks a little too complicated for my self (novice) to do.. especially since the instructions aren't really step by step.. so I definately will get the local trans guy that sells transgo to do it..

just one question.. on the instructions some places things are scratched out and some numbers written in.. I take it that is the corrections that you made for my setup?

Hey Dana.. I want buy to show the guy the parts + instructions for the kit.. the only thing he wanted to do different is use a .500 instead of the .471 that you supplied me with.. the .500 that he had doesn't have the rubber orings on it and he said would be much easier to install..

do you forsee any problem in doing this?

thanks again..

Yes, the .500 main boost valve w/o the o-rings would be easier to install. I sent you the .471 for the HD situation, but the .500 is ok too. The corrections are what you want to use.

pardon my stupidity but I'm not sure what you mean by HD situation?? will the .500 be an advantage or disadvantage? keep in mind this is not a work truck .. pretty much strictly used for pleasure!

The .500 will firm up the shifts a little more than the .471.

The bigger the valve the more pressure you have. More Pressure = Firmer Shifts I put a .521 in my car... even though pro-built advised against it... I figure once (if) I get the D-1SC the trannie ain't gonna last that long anyways... hehe
