MY 700R4 is making a clicking noise in all gears its gets really loud when slowing down to a stop but when youre at a stop you can barely hear the clicking sometimes not at all. as you speed up it just gets louder.

 

if you hear a clicking noise at all when your at a stop,then it isn't the rear,its not the u-joints,and its not the the gear train.so the only thing spinning is the converter and the pump gears or something in the motor.you could also have a cracked flex plate.put the car in drive,put your foot on the brake and bring the revs up a little and see if you still hear it

 

well i put in a new converter and flex plate and its still making the noise. i can get it to make a little bit of noise by power braking it.The motor doesnt make any noise when the converter is disconnected.
