i got a flowmaster muffler on mine and it sounds really good
not as deep as i would want it but then for that sound i would need a v8, but it does give it more of an edge!

i have one of my 2.5" hooker aero-chamber. I have to email it to you though. I love it's throaty rumble...sounds great, but not obnoxiously loud.

I have a sound file of my v6 on my computer at home. <at work right now>
But I have cut the old stock exhaust off and put on a muffler from a 95 camaro z28 and the stock exhaust tips from a 97 camaro z28.
It needs some work tho cause it sounds bad. Were trying to find a reducer to fit the pipe. And we might put a cat on it. I know besides it sounding bad right now it looks nice..

Its my car, the microphone on the floor about 6" behind the tailpipes, the notebook comp sittin on the spoiler. This is before my ***** filter intake. It was revved to about 4000 RPM in park, and then held at idle while I shifted it into reverse (holding the brake)

Flowmaster 80 2x 2.5" Out

Oh the site mite be down once inawhile, because geocities has a bandwidth limit. If that happens, don't worry, try again the next hour.

Yep, as long as the stereo isn't turned past 10 and the subs are on low...

Haha same here with the stereo thing. Whut does yours go to? I have my gain ALL the way down, Pionner head unit, 15 makes mirrors move. And chest vibration lol. It goes to 40!

LOL, mine goes to 30, but I have a gain on the EQ, and the 80 Hz and the 150Hz are maxed out, and the gain is maxed out. But on the HU, the Bass is only at +2, varying from -6 to +6, it gives a clearer sound. But the Flowmaster is great. One guy in a new 99+ Mustang GT wanted to drag me... lol, I'd have my a$$ handed to me. I'm not the racer type, too dangerous. Just cruise down the streets.

BTW, for a good bass song, try the Big Tymers - Still Fly, there's a part where it goes 4 15's didn't see no wires, then i heard BOOM from the amplifiers.... Turn the crossover to low, and you can watch the medal hangin from my mirror vibrate like crazy.

U want psyco bass?

U want back massausing, Chest-Pounding, Head Throbbing bass?

Then download - this song by: Three Six Mafia - Baby Mama.

LoL, I made a crack in the jiprock on the roof of my garage with it at 3/4 volume with 2 "12 sony xplodes, year 2000 model. Also torch's and missilanious tools fell off the walls. Thats what happens when u feed sonys with 500 real rms from a $800 amp!

Glad to hear you like the exhaust. I actually heard a clip of a hooker setup on and 8 and fell in love with the sound. It was exactly what I wanted, so I figured what the heck, see what happens and I couldn't be happier.

If you go to:

http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLin...ro.html#Charts

you will see a bunch of comparison charts. It will give you an idea of what to expect as far as loudness (not a real word ) and etc. I went with the aero-chamber because it would be a little louder than stock but not ANNOYING. Heres the kicker. Since I've had the exhaust, I have had numerous girls in the car at night. And everything is louder at night. And it was very very easy to drive around on dates and still hold a normal conversation. You know its back there...but in no way is it annoying or loud inside the car. But you get behind it and you know its there. So I would say its definately not a worry about how loud it is. I heard numerous stories about people getting annoyed with there Flowmasters because they are so loud. Just FYI since you asked.

Also, if/when you look to buy it....I bought the muffler for the 4th gen. Same dimensions as the 3rd gen....but comes with a 2.5" inlet. I didn't want the 2.25"er....so beware of that. Other than that if you like the low throaty rumble....enjoy. Flows are a little raspy for my taste....but thats my .02.
