well, first of all welcome to the board. second of all yes you can make it work. and third of all, the only way it's going to work is if you have megga dollars to spend on it. A turbo setup on a 3.1L v6 will require a completely different setup than the one that you have for the old TAT, and all your work would have to be customed fabbed being that there is no turbo setup designed for a rear wheel drive 60 degree engine yet. there's a few folks on here who had mentioned turbo fever, nothing's been acomplished yet, and yes they all have turbos, but they'er still not on the engine. hmmmm, good luck with whatever u try to do.

It's easier
to install your turbo
by scanning it on to your computer
and computer generating your dream turbo installation on these 60* V-6 without damage to the engine.

Welcome,
Try another idea for power.

You CAN grab that turbo, tho.
DOES IT HAVE A PONTIAC PART NUMBER ON IT?
Sell it on ebay

Be honest and invest your time in the GM Performance Parts book (Measly $6 any GM dealer).
Read what GM has to offer us & the 60* V-6.
Set your realistic goals and budget and who has the tools and spare car to drive.
Ask me about swapping in 3.4's!
