hey guys i have 3 people wanting to race me do you guys think i will win any of them? the first one is a 82 camaro 2.8 carbed a3 trany 3:08 non posi with an edlebrock 4bbl intake and carb. he claimes its bored .040 over. second one is a 87 crustang 5.0 c4 trany 2:73 posi. mostly stock. he sais it runs 14.7 in the quarter. and the 3rd is a 91 cavalier 2.0 auto all stock. how will i hold in these races? will i win any of them

 

watch out for the mustang, but the other two you will win. the mustang will probably be a challenge but you should be able to take them as long as they ain't pushing buttons

 

could you add some more to your sig? life history, friends,family rants and raves? it just seams kinda short?

 

your car's equipped with a lot of mods, so the first car on your list will be no problem whatsoever, the second however is a different story. i've watched mustangs run 14.7's all day long, and you might have some issues, although u've got mods, i'm not sure they'r 14 second mods or not, a time slip would really help that one out. oh and that last would shouldn't even be considered a race considering how far back he'll b ein your rearview mirror.

I totally agree with 85f-bird, but I would still race that mustang, should be close, Make sure you get a good start. As for the cavalier, watch out and don't put $ on it till you check under the hood of his car, i don't think anyone could be stupid enough to challenge you with what he has described, unless he doesn't know what you got under your hood...
