Info on the headers..

Ok People many of you wanted to see pics of the new ones, they are in the Header thread. Others wanted to see if they had the EGR, again in the header thread, but here is anopther pic I took tonight with the Complete EGR hooked up showing that yes the entire system can/will fit with the headers I have. it seemed not 5 days ago my email box was exploding with people wanting these things, now all the sudden when I get the stuff you guys want; nothing.

As it stands now I have My91RS sending his 150+ for the set I have in the garage now. After that I will have the collectors for 3 pair. One is going to My91RS, another person has shown interest in getting another set, but I have not heard anything back in a couple days so.... If no one else steps up to lay claim to the 2 I may have available then I will just order 1 set of collectors for MY91RS and go back to designing them for my car.

Which BTW 89CamaroRS was over to help out some, and I started the car with open headers after getting the EGR on and the Drivers side(my design, after a quick rev) was holding a 4 inch flame out of the collector. Nothing from the headman side, unless it was reving down. So that has to say something for the flow on these things to hold it at idle....

So basically heres whats gonna happen. I am expecting My91's $$$ Monday/Tues, If I do not get any emails from people saying "YES I WANT A SET, $$$ IS IN THE MAIL/PAYPAL" then I will only be ordering 1 set. I am not gonna make 1 set here, one set there... It's just not worth it. Sorry but thats the way it is, the more of these collectors I can order at one time the cheaper I can get them. And I would perfer knowing that the ones I order are not gonna sit in my garage for g0d knows how long collecting dust.

I know you guys were patient(and I appriciate that), but I was the one that went out and busted *** to get this shiznit done. I was gonna make a set for my car reguardless, I just though that since I was forking out this $$$ then I may as well try to do something with it. Again email me quick, or this may just be a quick 1 set deal.

I am not saying this to be pissy, sound like an ***, or anything. I am just telling it like it is. If I only get 2 sales from these headers then do not expect anything else that I produce for my car to go to open market.

I would love to buy a set, but can't until you get a CARB #. I live in California and can't screw around with the EPA ***** to much.

Why did you have to change the belt routing. Or was that for something else?

New belt routing was because he removed the smog pump.

CamaroHunter, How about I fund you for the headers to go to C.A.R.B. and when they are done I get them? It sounds to me that they will pass with no problems/ just have to go through the formalities right?

Let me know: Afrikingoodtime@aol.com

Thanks Dean

i saw the thing throw out flames in idle ..its more like a butane torch....

his design was throwing out steady flame in idle ..looked real cool ..but the heddmans were not unless u reveed it up and even then it was not uniform....

and his design is also much much easier to fit in ,...man those hedmanns are a pain in the *** whatever those guys were thinking when they designed this

plus if u use CHD headers there might be a way to tweak the existing Y pipe and fit it into his headers (no way u can do that with the heddmans the way they come out is just crappy i personally dont think u can even have the cat in the same place with the heddmans )

man..CHD sure does have patience ..4 days the car has been in the ramp..
