A/c!!!

I'm here to vent, so please excuse me..... But is it me or do all of you dread turning on your air conditioning as well?? The damn thing kicks the crap out of my car. I have to brake harder, and use the gas harder. I dread having to turn the damn thing on, but it gets so unbarable outside that I needed it. << end venting >>

I give my V6 pretty much respect, but the A/C just isn't even funny. Granted it's cold, but why must it kick my car's @ss?

On my old motor , it would do the same thing to my car . On my new motor , I hardly know its on , but it does decrease the power a slight bit . I know on my old motor , I needed a tune-up for awhile , and after the tune-up , it would not make the car act like that . Your car may need a tune-up .

Yep, my car is rediculously slow with the A/C on. It bothered me at first, but then I thought back to the last 3 years of sweating my *** off in that car.....doesn't bother me anymore.

I just thought of something . Your belt tensioner maybe about to kick the bucket . Sometimes when they do that , your car gets real slow with the ac on .

I had my AC on
As I was going up a hill to Pasadena
70-75MPH
No effort.
The guy who had the Model T wasn't as lucky.
It went BOOM Black cloud of smoke!
I feel like a KING as I drive around with the AC on

I know what you mean. When I drive past some one with there windows rolled down in 100 + * heat I get the bigest smile on my face.

My gas millage dips when I use the a/c but I don't lose much power, just a tad. I have to use a little mre gas then normal when taking off, that's it. Other then that I can pass other cars as normal. I don't use it in the city, becuase that's when I noticed the bigest drop in MPG. then again I don't in city traffic much.

I actually like driving with the windows down on a hot day! When I still had my A/c in, I'd have the A/c on, and the windows down.
