Finally!!

Today i got my insurance and now i can drive my car everyday, i'm so pleased now, but i have one problem once the car is warmed up it has trouble starting, takes multiple tries usually.
any idea if the timing could cause this? and when the engines not warmed up and i put it in reverse it'll stall out,.

have you checked your timing? If so whats it at?

Vacuum leak? Maybe, won't hurt to check...

do you let the key sit in the on position an wait for the fuel pump to finish priming the engine. Let that "humm" finished (takes a few seconds) and try to start the car.

Maybe your starter can be bad? ( i can't remember the symtoms of that of hand, sorry)

Maybe your not getting enough "spark" to burn off the remaining "mixture" in the cumbustion chambers?

I would suggest vacume or starter. I had something similer and it was a loose ground on the block. I dunno what all you have done but I always do a good tune-up on a car thats been sitting a while (dunno how long yours has sat). So I moslty agree with stuart. I dont think timing would cause it only while hot. My s10 has timing probs right now and it has probs hot or cold, but never hurts to check it.

Might be fuel pressure related too... have you done the major tuneup, so we're not missing something dumb like old spark plugs?

no, she has new plugs and wires, havent done the tuneup though.
dad changed the timing while i was working tonight and know it'll start warm fine but it'll turn over a lot more and quicker and seems to have less power. any idea why>? should i just put timing the way it was and check the fuel pressure ?

that damn fuel pressure problem
bringing back flashbacks of the $450 job dealer did. Blazer would start in morning, cold, but in afternoon would just crank, not start. ful pump wouldn't hold the pressure.
