I've eventually gotten a new hood, too.
Bummer part is that I cannot rattle can a decent paint job onto the hood I got. I've rattle canned my rear bumper, front driver fender and I will also the newer nose (from red to beige) and gas cap door assembly, too.

 

The paint is next.. I am going to try and get the entire car done. It will look nice again soon.. If I can't get the whole car I will spot fix a few other spots and get the silver white...

The car is alive.. Tommrow I drive it to work.. Now my wife wants it painted ASAP. She can not stand the two colors, to white trash for her so that is fine with me.. A new paint job even sooner...

It is not done yet... I am fixing the rear main seal, but I still have crappy AC... I need that and paint and it might be around to get it's header installed and some NO2...

 

Looks good, dude! Now you can join the ranks of us that drive with a different colored body part on the car!

 

It was very rewarding to do it... There is still a little aliging of the hood a body shop needs to do, but otherwise it is straight, drives straight, runs good.

This saturday I will fix the oil leaks, main seal and pan. Then comes the AC, then I will install the headers and look into NOS.. I want to run no more than 15.0 this winter. I may go for the cam and 4.10's too or instead of.

 

Looks like you found some good strieght parts in that boneyard. I'm never that lucky!
