Help!!can't figure out my problem

Well i checked the Vacume lines and there apears to be no leak... My car origonally came with no air conditioning and who ever had the car before did a really horable job in putting one in. wires are spliced everywhere and a bunch of plugs are left unplugged... so i was thinking if that is causing my idle to be high, because my computer might think my a/c is on all the time, making my idle ajust???? i have no idea... but i think i am going to take it to the shop to see if sombody can figure out why my RPMs a running high........ Any suggestions??

Have you ever done a major tuneup? Start with the basics before you go attacking an air conditioning setup.

When are you taking it to the shop?

Hit that little button in the upper right hand corner that says "search". Type in the words "major tune-up" in the first field, "TomP" in the second field, then where it asks what forum to search, pull down and highlight "v6".

Most deff time for a tune up. First off, clean your IAC (assuming you have fuel injection). That seems to be a problem on alot of fuel injected cars, not just camaro, but all makes an mfg's.

Let us know how the tune up goes, and then well think about letting you take it to a shop :sillylol:
