vacuum connector behind the intake manifold (please look)
vacuum connector behind the intake manifold (please look)
ok ok...i broke this little plastic fitting off when changing my cap.....it connects 3 vacuum lines right above the distributor/behind the intake. its kinda like a T connector...two of the lines are one size (sorry dont remember the sizes) and one is a little bigger. now heres the thing....it is KINDA LIKE a "T" connector, but it has like this little cone/cylinder shaped body......well i ran down to the local store and they didnt have anything like that so i put a regular "T" connector (with the correct size parts).........heres the actual question
does that little cone part do anything????? do i need a new one, or will the plain connector do the job????

Go to a dealer and ask for a vacuum check valve with 3 fittings; (they also make those with just 2 fittings)they should have it. The parts department at my work stocks them so I assume most places have them.
