Random b*tch post
Yeah..my speedometer didn't work at all this whole day so far.. And I threw an SES code..whoopty doo! I pulled her over and shut it off and got around the diagnostic port..pulled a wire from the upper left terminal that was wired to my TCC lock switch, and shoved it right next to the one at the upper right.....it was d*mn convenient! Pulled the code...Code 24... I don't have access to my Code ID book right now..it's somewhere in my garage I think, I'm at school....But I seem to remember Code 24 being VSS, right? Argh. Yet another part or repair to add to my christmas list....... Just felt like complaining today...

Do you run the TCC lockup switch all the time? That's not too good for the trans; it's supposed to be a track-only mod... even though it is a fun mod!

MD, yeah, that's what I figure..the TCC is a b*tch..locks up very quickly..sometimes it jumps the gun a tad before 40 mph..and once it's locked, it won't unlock itself unless I pass below 40, or COMPLETELY release the pedal. A partial release and it stays locked, which makes the car kick, jerk, and shudder with any slight deceleration. And Tom, I ONLY run it when for instance, the car is cold and the VSS is tweaking.. The speedometer jumps from say, 35 to 45..back and forth..means I'm doing about 40. But everytime it goes above 40, TCC locks..needle dips rapidly and it unlocks...does it a LOT..so when that starts happening, I force lock it. I NEVER use the TCC lock unless I'm doing over 40 mph..unless it's an accident... (Left school with it on today...oops...I got the hint after I hit 2nd at half throttle and abruptly released cause of backed up traffic and I heard this terrible scraping noise...)

I got a random b*tch for you
Bitchin & Moanin Women firebird drivers sheesh....
Coming home with a friend in his olds 98 and a girl in a firebird does a
sharp left hand u-turn onto the highway on ramp in front of us.
Basically cutting us off and cause it was wet out she had to slow way
down and do it right and under control. We slowed down so we wouldn't
rear end her and then she gets the brilliant idea to punch it and take
off. All she did was spin in a circle and sledge hammer her left front
into our left front. I saw it, I got ready, it looked softer than it
felt. Instead of whiplash, cause I'm so tall, I did a head butt into the
roof sun visor area. It hurt. It still hurts, my neck hurts, I hate
hospitals. I don't wanna go.

Jesus man...how stupid. Anyone that knows anything about driving dynamics knows you do NOT punch the gas in the rain..NEVER EVER EVER EVER! But she must've been pretty dumb to swing it around too cause I've done that and I spin but I just drift forward not a 180.. Hope you're alright!

Im still not sure how I am. My neck and head still hurts. They didnt do much at the hospital. Found the police report online tonight and the girl had a 91 bird. It was nice looking too, or was.
She did everything right until she punched it to take off. she had to slow way dow to do the u-turn and everythign was ok. But then she thinks
" Oh im gonna just punch it and leave this turkey behind"
Man it was so dumb, she did so well the just lost it.
She must of had posi, only doing 20-25 going straight but when she hit it all it did was spin right around and slam us hard. she was pointed straight and going slow and it just spun in place real real fast.
