how to check for a vaccumm leak ?????

Hi
well the subject just about says it how do i check for a vaccumm leak
i have a 88 camaro 2.8 V6 which is reving high(2000 RPM) and i have to keep jabbing on the throttle to get it to come down (about 750RPM ) i have change the IAC and no change and some one told me i may have a vaccumm leak but i do not know how apart from looking at them but as hard as i look i can not see the air leaking out or in :-)

get some carb cleaner(spray can). run the engine and spray shots of it around areas that you think have a leak. you will notice a difference in rpm while spraying carb clean when you find the leak

did you check the timing. I retarded mine(just until i'm done with smog) and it came back down to about ~650, but i still have the throttle stick problem that you have. By the way, what color is you car. we basically have the same car and it's interesting how they are having the same problem at the same time.

They sell a vacume guage at about any parts store, is cheap too. thats best accurate way to check. Needle bounces, you have issues. Needle steady, it is fine.

well good news sorted mind out
and it was me being a dumb *** i put the air lines in the wrong way on the TB
I have a Black 88
i still have allot to sort out 1 is the paint work
just win some new rims on E-bay when i got the car it had taty 14" when it should have 15"
any way if i can help let me know
