91 v-6 ALDL?
anybody know how to make one? i have a laptop sitting at home that i can use i'm not really looking to spend a lot on this just kind of playing with the idea of electronic tuning any help here would be appreciated

Then search for Moates software. It is the stuff to run on the laptop to collect the data. There are other free programs out there too.
Check out/search the DIY PROM board on this site. Lots of good into there. Your ECM is the same one used in the '90 to '92 TPI cars. Different data stream though.
