How big should it be to go in the hole ?
...Get your heads' out of gutter guys !The long bolt which goes threw the ac compressor and holds the bracket which connects to the plenum on the drivers side ...which size bolt is this ? I took that bracket off when I did the tb bypass not to long ago and lost that damn bolt . It's been making a rattling noise thats about to drive me bonkers . I guess the bracket is vibrating up against the compressor . I thought about just going to the hardware store and guessing a bolt , but my luck I'll buy like three bolts and they wont fit .

You have the 3.1, right? If so, I don't know about this bolt; but a hardware store might not have it; it's probably metric... and if it's a long one, a Pep Boys/Strauss/etc might not have it either... best bet is a junkyard.

Junk yard Only Item.
Serious.
Just played with my stuff on Blazer, same thing probably.
It's a Shouldered 15mm head bolt, long. Or it's a 13mm shouldered head bolt.
Bring 13mm & 15mm box wrenches.
Liquid wrench, too
