exhaust manifolds

since CHC stopped making headers and I can't afford the rediculous price of these new ones, I'm buying replacement manifolds for my 91 bird. I was wondering if these are the ones that would fit in my car. I'm attaching a pic of them. let me know if they are the ones before i buy them.

Rediculous price? $315 minus the 10% discount on group purchase = $275. Not bad really, but then again if you could afford them you would drive a V8 car too, right? Maybe we shouldn't make these headers

If you want a set of those iron manifolds PM 6speed84z28. He has a set from his 90 Camaro that now has the prototype headers on it.

no offense but some of us aren't made out of money. are u talking about the same manifolds as those in the picture? don't stop making those headers like CHC. There will always be a market for headers but don't quit making them. maybe down the road when i attain more money i will perhaps buy headers from you guys.

Now that is a real rude comment to make when trying to sell a product.

Whats so rude? Its just the facts. People want, then we build, then people can't afford. Seems like deja- vu. CHC warned us about this group.

Funny the Ford 3.8 Supercharged guys are almost up to their 10th set as a GP (their prices are higher too due to AIR fittings and bigger collectors) and not one negative comment from them on PRICES. They have reacted with open arms and want us to do other things for them like custom exhaust systems for their cars. They are willing to pay for what they want.

I'm not trying to rub salt in any wounds, I'm just saying that we try and go out of our way to make what you guys want, then we get people saying our prices are "rediculous". OK i'm sure that encourages 10 other people to buy a set. Hmmm....if one guy thinks they're "rediculously priced" don't you think that will affect others decisions in buying a set? I'm sorry but that comment rubbed me the wrong way.

And I did actually give a helpful reply to this post. If you want the log manifolds contact Greg he'll sell you his. Hopefully they're more "affordable" to you.

Peace and sorry for the rant.

exactlly, you were warned, so don't complain about this crowed.

I'm also sure that if I had a supercharger on my engine, I would be more encougaged to help the power boost level. And someone that can afford a supercharger, should beable to afford some headers.

Key word there...supercharged. Their cars won't max out at 175ish horses.
