my bad. I just looked at the hook up, and I have the brake booster going to the "T" fitting, and the pcv tube going to the base manifold fitting. not sure if it really matters, as I have plenty of brake pedal.

THAT BIG THICK PLASTIC HOSE GOES TO TB & MANIFOLD INLET & TO PCV. IT GOES UNDER THE TOP OF THE MPFI
That's why ya remove the TOP to do the WORK!
ALL ya gotta do is as I suggested so it is a simple mission.
Do you NOT have that thick plastic hard line hose?
I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR THAT HOSE ROUTING PIC!
I can't tell ya how difficult is was to figure out the PCV set up, yet, by JUST DOING IT, it was so BLOODY SIMPLE! IT ALL FALLS INTO PLACE
AND I was "working" with a a guy addicted to herion. Oh the joys!

this would be very simple if i had the original lines but i dont thats why im asking all these questions that seem really dumb
QUESTIONS ARE NEVER DUMB.
This is the first time you've said you are MISSING some lines.
Last time I recall you said the lines were just not attached and you needed a way to figure out how to attach them.
That's what I've been working with from your past statements.
That big hard thick plastic hose line would should be easily available in a wrecking yard, as it can't be as easily damaged by engine heat.
Having gone to the GM dealer, I was informed that the lines no longer in the parts systems for purchasing.
And I know I suggested ya get to a wrekcing yard to see how to do this mission, anyway. Looks like ya have to score it from a yard and 1985 stuff is "unique" yet that large thick plastic hose COULD be on other years, also.
Need to finda car from 1985 to atleast 1987. After that 1987 year, the parts may really start to be different.
It is very different in the 1991-92 years.
Good hunting to you.
That plastic hose is UNDER the top of the MPFI unit.
Need a 10mm 12 point socket to do the removal job.
