Do you have any larger pics? That's got to be one of the best looking LC1's I have ever seen!

You got an Edelbrock carb on top of the LC1? what size? No wonder you were able to spin the tires.

Alright, it was bugging me all day as to why that did not look like an LC1. Even with an Edlebrock 4-barrel manifold, carb, there were just some things that didn't add up.

oh no, my bad that is not my engine i never said it was, its a pic of this guys lc1 engine but since the old pic of my engine i added chrome covers and airfilter, and my plan was to have my engine look like that untill i got the v8. and i think the lc1 looks better then anyother v6 thirdgen engine, and in genral a really good lookin v6 engine, i was just pointing that out in the post. but yes that is a lc1 engine from a v6 camaro thirdgen. here is how u can tell 4 sure its a v6, here is another bigger pic of it, now that plastic thing that covers the fan is not that big on a v8 no where close to it. thats the same size as the lc1. trust me its a lc1 i got no resion to

thats not a thirdgen engine bay, looks liek a truck maybe .. which is why the fan shroud is longer and i can count 4 wires on the pass side .. the fourth is in back but visable

That looks like a V8 too me, becuase I see the 4 wires too. One them seems to be running parallel with another wire. What ever engine that is in the pic - it looks pretty nice.
can never convince u guys, lol. if u had a lc1 u would no just by looking at it and the size that its a v6. the guy who built this engine showed me the pic and his site, all i no is he put alot of $ in this engine and has like 3 camaros, i am trying to get ahould of him to get more pics to prove to u guys.

It has a small block dual plane intake manifold- check the runners closely and you'll see two in front and 2 behind the carb on the pass side of motor. Also look at the size of those valvecovers next to the carb- come on buddy, its a V8
oh man u just might be right i never seen that 4th wire there if its a wire, and it could be a truck thats why it looks so small in the bay, but the dude told me it was a 84 camaro 2.8l. carp i really want to no now.

Thats neither a v6 or any year fbody. The cowl is smaller the wiper arms located differently and the wheel wells have clearance. Id say its more like a regal/cutless, it looks like a pontiac engine so that my guess.
omg my bad i read the wrong info on the wrong engine. u no when u have a page and it has a bunch of info below each pic, he had the info ontop and i mixed them up sorry, and the guy did not no i was talking about that engine when i asked him. um just shows u that the people on this site know what they are talkin about. sorry again. it is a 455 for a 2nd gen camaro. sorry again for wasteing your time.

Nice catch on the cowl, SSC. I was trying to look for other identifiers as to an f-body platform from the first picture, but it was all cropped off.
Why are we arguing about this anyway?
