because when i bought mine in 98 it came with it. i live in millwauke wisc, the car was from new jersey.......

do you have a rough estimate of how much extra hp/torque you got from the mods? also roughly how much it all cost

 

where and when did you get these, and did they fit on eith no problems?

 

i bought them from some mike guy on this board about a year and a half ago there were a few problems with making the y pipe but all in all it worked out great. as for cost i really didnt care

i went through reciepts it was around 5.000 dollars
the only reason i did it all was the car was so clean i havent seen a 87 f body unerneath as clean as mine. i love the car
you almost have to put on sun glasses when i pop the hood
well maybe not but close. i always have to here why a 6 why not an 8 then i say i can pass your *** with this and get 33mpg on the free way. the gas mileage is just awsome. i love the 60 degree v6

 

WELL it a good thing your car remains pritty much stock

 

so you must be a v8 guy look at it this way 135 stock to about
190. 55 hp gain
take a v 8 230hp add your 60 hp with cam bolt ons
ect,, and your the same as me pound for pound so i guess your
pretty much stock too smart guy... add my 75 shot nos
wow a 2.8 w close to 260-275 hp once i get the chip burned.

now today we dinoed one of those new srt-4 any who my best friend has one i think one of the only ones in sc. any way top speed was 157mph wow yea anywho the tq was 253ftlb
and the hp was 223hp...

wow its kinnda scary seeing how you can pic one up with only 19 thousand ...it runs 9.2 in the 1/8

Car must not be lowered or you have a major scraping issue with that Y-pipe. Would like to see pics of that.

Haven't seen an '87 f-body as clean as yours underneath? Watch where your boasting.

its very clean underneath my firebird im not boasting either.
all im saying is im not going to spend thousands of dollars on a rusty piece of ****. so thats why i kept it and modded it.
i always hear get a donor car, put in a v8, sell the 6, ect,,,,,,
im tired of hearing what everyone else wants me to do i say its my money my time ill do what i like. but sorry for snapping before
i see 93 95 camaro/firebirds alot more rusted out underneath
than some of my friends f-bodys. just saying some people take care of there cars and other drive them through the snow and salt.

 

FYI 3.1 crank bored .030 over is just tad over 3.2.

yea, even though i have a v6 i think thats a heck of a lot of work to do to one.

im sure tom p remembers me and ked, brian k, i was going to sell him my hyperjunk chip but sold it to someone else. the engine has 170 miles on it im taking it out of storage in 2 weeks....

maybe u live in a bad area for car underbodys, im on my 6th f-body now and not one has had rust on the underbody, actually mine now had very very very light surface rust on the a piller, first time ive seen one around here with rust, i dunno about all those mods in a v6...thats alot of money to spend, but if u plan on keeping it forever i guess its ok then
