Yes.
Think of a ball on end of stick, whipping it up & down.
It could happen!
These are "little" engines, not big strong old Chevy V-8's or Cast Iron In-Line 6's!
Why reinstall a previous mistake?
I'll bet ALOT of 4th Gen F bodies got "wrecked" up there this winter!!!!!!!
FIND THAT 3.4 NOW! Rebuild tranny with all fresh stuff, go have fun!
Let me know how cheap a 3.4 is going for in Canada!

damn man never seen someone promote a swap so much... anyways 3.4s are damn near impossible to find around here,. alothough i can get a 400hp LT1 with T56 for $4000Cad.. but V6 f-bods are scarce.. most are those stangs, my plan is to get a 2.8/3.1 now that i can straight drop in, no fiddling with much.. get a 350 over the fall/winter, keep it in garage, do it up, and hopefully drop it in the camaro for next summer.

Go for a new crate engined 3.4!
The swap is a such great priced option for the power gain.
So much old, original refurbished V-6 stuff swaps over so easy.
How far away are you from the factory that made the final 4th gen F Bodies?
Maybe there are more 3.4 powered rides there? Couldn't $4000 buy a great complete running car?

I dont have the couple or more grand for a crate engine right now.. and I'm a nice ways away from quebec and i live on an island, so it would be costly to get it shipped or whatever...

On you in the PEI's?
VERY NICE SETTING
Remote, too!
Like Maui!
You were speaking about a $4K drivetrain so my idea was a suggestion.....
Never hurts to shop the internet, tho!

Yeah 3.4's are really scare. I have seen 3 of them for sale in NS and PEI in the last year. One was still in a wrecked car they wanted $700 for it, not too bad. But wrecked 4th gens are fairly rare up here. You have to consider in the run of a year the US buys 800,000 + F-150's while Canada makes up for 67,000 of them. I know I am comparing fords trucks with camaro sales, but in all seiousness I think you can see what I am saying. So an F-body car can be rare in the maritimes. We just don't have the amount of cars in the country compared to you.

I never see a Thirdgen grave yard, or see them all over the place, I see quite a few, but if there in a junk yard there is nothing left to them.

Plus on top of that we have the worst salt air, and roads in canada. Nova Scotia and PEI definitly fall in 1st, I know people from NFLD who say their salt is bad, but nova Scotia is just rediculous for destroying cars.
