Anyone try to port/polish their V6 intake?

I was wondering if this is worth doing. I have a decent
dremel kit. Comes with the 50 accessories( I believe it
comes with a few different grinding tools). Only have
2 speeds though, slow and fast.

I am capable of removing the intakes. But How do
I do this? Where to start? How much can you port
out? Is it worth the hours of work?

Here's the hot ticket items for polishing heads and intake yourself. Cratex rubberized abrasives- You'll have to E-mail them for a dealer near you.

Ive got a throttle body and fuel injected intake for sale, you could use it to practice on. Shoot me an e-mail at rf805@yahoo.com with an offer.

Yeah, I saw that 62mm TB, but I want to save some
dough. So, I want to try it myself. Did you get any
difference in like throttle response when you ported
your TB?

What did you start with? One of those sanding wheels?
Where exactly in the TB can you port? Is it ok to port
all around the inside where the throttle plate sits in?

An 8? Your getting a V8 you mean?

Thanks everyone for your replys.

I think I'm going to start my throttle body porting soon.
Then into the upper and lower intakes.
