Stupid Cam Question

Stupid Cam Question

Can i put a cam in with out pulling the top end of the eninge. I know the anwser is know and this sounds stupid but i thoght id give it a shot.

No. You have to remove the valve covers, rocker arms, pushrods and lifters. I thought about that one before too, and I have yet to find a way to do it. If I ever discover it though I'll let you know.

If you can turn the engine upside down cam swaps can be done with just pulling the valve covers (intake stays in place).
