1.52 or 1.6 roller tip rockers

Yet another post...
I am wondering whether to get the magnum 1.6 roller tip rockers or the crane 1.52 rockers.

What kind of difference is there power-wise?
And I will be getting a powermax 2030 so if I went with the crane rockers, everything would be crane and I wouldn't need to find fiero valve covers.

Here's what I'm planning for my engine.
Tomp's tune-up
A coil...probably Accel
A new serpentine belt
A new timing chain
Porting the plenum
A high-flow cat....still trying to find if I will pass emissions or not (obviously not engine...)
some new injectors if i will be able to find them for a good price
the Powermax 2030
either of the mentioned rockers
and probably a chip eventually.

Get the 1.52's..... Just heard it works better... Also my buddy did the 1.6 and lost power.. Did not do new springs at the time.. If you go 1.6 get 105lbs springs I think...

I would imagine that the 1.6's would give you the maximum power by giving you that extra bit of lift....but like Brian said, gotta get the springs to work with it...

I decided to go with the 1.52's for the simplicity....well kinda. How hard is it to set the valve lash after putting in the new cam and rockers

I've had a set of 1.6 Comp magnum roller tip steel rockers and pushrods sitting in my garage for the longest time, never installed them yet.

I bought a disasembled 3.1 with a bent rod for $100 off a guy I know mainly to get the EGR valve, and here was a set of rockers in a tupperware container and they have low miles on them.

I WILL get around to it. One day......

Hell of a deal you got there. You could part out the rest and make that $100 right back I'm sure.

The heads have about 20,000 on a valve job and have Crane dual springs on them too.

Ah sho' dew!

Not only am I casually mentioning that I have parts people save and save for after begging their parents/ significant other to buy, but I tell how incredibly cheap I got them and that they sit in my spacious garage and that I have no firm plans on when I will be installing them.

You bet, I suck.

But not as bad as it must suck to be one of those who bought headers from a banned member only to find they didn't fit and you can't get ahold of the dude who made them!

I've got a large collection of parts in my garage as well. But the difference is..those are parts I pulled off to replace. Got a full set of 45 degree booted Ford Motorsport 9mm wires, a Ford TFI stock ignition coil in decent shape, a pair of old, fouled out oxygen sensors, the entire stock intake assembly and fairly new paper filter for a fox body SEFI 5.0.....the list goes on.
