turbo V6 buick in a camaro?

turbo V6 buick in a camaro?

I have a chance to pick up an 86 buick lebaron thats got a turbo in it but im not sure if its a 4 or 6 but if its a V6 will it work in a camaro?

it's definitly a v6, but I think it's a FWD motor, so the mounts are different. Probably won't work, but if you're up to a challenge...feel free. I'm sure that if it was actually a feesable plan, someone would've already done that though. to get turbo'd is gonna take some time, money and effort, not just a drop-in thing.

It'll be a 2.2 or 2.5 Turbo. Both 4 bangers. Both FWD. Neither will work without lots of modifications.

the 3.8 3800 series I v6 found in older buicks are not bad. i think around 170hp stock but with some manifolds/headers and exhaust/intake work they should be a lot better. problem is they are fwd and u need the computer and all that to make it work. i doubt it has ever been done.

There's also a 3.8L supercharged engine that was in the Pontiac Bonneville. I think that one was at 225hp. I drove one once. Lots of power. Front wheel drive though.
