Painted my engine

i didnt do the basepan yet becuase i'm not leaving that one on, the motor should be good to go in next week, i cant wait!

What contrasting colors can do for a shortblock.
My 95 3.4 for the 85 Blazer before I installed it.
Good going.
How did you prep block?
I washed mine in easy off oven cleaner then washed/wiped down with Dupont Paint Prep, let sun heat block & sprayed away.
I used Engine enamel Chevy Orange.
I couldn't repaint a Chevy engine block, black.
Goes against nature.

it isn't my garage, its a friends, all i own in there is the 2 motors and the car

looks good so far man... when i redid my motor i painted it chevy blue. (dont remember if thats the true name) it lookd pretty good. is that a 2.8 or 3.1? what are the specs on it? good luck with the rest of it soon u will be doing these again
