Need opinions on where to put a stronger inner tie rod end

I have two Moog inner tie rod ends waiting to go on the car. One is an "old" design, looks stronger. The box has no mention of Federal Mogul on it. The "new" design is a bit thinner. I'd like your opinion on where to put the stronger inner tie rod end, OR, if I should eat the $40, get rid of the "stronger" design, and replace it with a "new" design. My poll is here: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=186800 Thanks!! Any/all opinions wanted please!

And also, for anyone that did their balljoints and remembers how they got the ball joint boot on, please check out https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=186790 for me! Thanks!!

PS The rebuild is going great! More info comes tomorrow!

Tom, it really doesn't matter, they both are very strong. As for strength or flex, neither will flex before any rubber or urethane bushings will. If anything I would say the passenger side would take sooner abuse because the Idlerarm on that side wears quicker than the pitman arm on the drivers side causing more travel movement and wear on that side of the steering linkage.

Thanks guys! Good point, AGood, I didn't think about the idler arm's effects. I'll be putting it on the passenger side.
