3.4 ?

Can a 3.4 out of a camaro/firebird be refitted with a MPFI and dist. from an earlier camaro/firebird with a 2.8 ?

I'm not sure about the distributor, but the 3.4 is essentially the same as the 2.8/3.1, if I recall. Never had one though, but I think it's basically the same block.

Here's what ya wanna see.
This example is my 1985 Blazer set up.
It's "same" as your idea as I did that to my Firebird 3.4!
5 words or less.
All ya do is swap stuff in the end!
It's DETAILED
Yet extremly simple.
Read my Swap Boogie thread and enjoy the research.
I'm up to about 40+ people whom I've coached
Next response has after shot.
WHAT YA SEE is what comes from factory on the 3.4 the PLUG!

After.
PS rebuild your distributor before you reassemble the engine.
Look for my distributor rebuild thread, also!

And my 3.4 Firebird runs so clean I have one CA SMOG test reading at ZERO!
I ONLY do smog legal swaps and works so great!!
