Ionic...YOU have hatch louvers. That makes you cool. I had them too. NO ONE ever leaves them on! They're so hard to find! I had like 3 people offer to buy mine but I refused because I liked them. Then I sold my car and the b*tch took em off. But aaaanyways.... Sexy car. I love the Irocs too. I always liked the later Z28 style rims more, but something's different...those Irocs have got to be the best looking ones I've seen. Those are painted in black in some areas right? Maybe that's the difference....

thx.....and yes they have been repainted, i used to own a 85 iroc till i totalled it, and i sold the whole car to a kelly tire shop owner that ive known for most of my life, he just wanted the engine for a rock crawler, and kept the rims to sale..so recently i bought em back from him with no tires on it.....and used the tech article in the tech section of this site and repainted what knot, got the car detailed yesterday....and heres a better pic of the car!!

Looks nice.

I used to love the rear window louvers until I actually bought some and had them on my car for 4 months. Now I know why so many people hate them.

The phrase armadillo came to mind a couple of times. At least they look better on Irocs than Birds.

Contrary to popular belief, on a stock (or fairly stock) car you will get NO real big power increases. Driveability, part throttle response, economy, and all that will be improved.

Now, on a modified engine, you can open up gobs of power over the stock chip!

I'm thinking 'mods' more along the lines of...

a new cam, bigger injectors, new heads, ported/polished intake/exhaust, maybe headers... then a shot of N2O or a turbo/supercharger...

Really, as long as you are still running stock injectors, the computer will run fine until you need bigger injectors.
