Take your time getting it out so you don't break anything on it not take a year to get it out! And if my stupid AOL didn't freeze on me 24-7 and if I had a keyboard I would have a 1,000 questions on here plus I have to keep answering all your questions "How do I get this off? weh weh! How much is this worth? weh weh" so I don't really have time to ask many questions here. Oh and I asked you to see if the Edelbrock valve covers would work not the fireo ones and to you buddy:sillylol:

The edelbrock ones, like our stock 2.8 ones, are too short, right? They won't clear?

Hm.... what about cutting up two stock stamped aluminum 2.8 valve covers, cutting them, and welding them together... instant valve cover spacer?

there is a guy who uses the 2030 cam and the 1.6 summit rockers on his engine with the Eldebrock valve covers, he says they dont hit.

and even if they did hit, you could probably just hit the inside with a hammer to dent it out just a little, or install 2 valve cover gaskets with RTV in between them....

Good idea but not necessary the Edelbrock valve covers are taller than stock.

THere have been reports of rockers hitting & not hitting the Edelbrock covers. If the y do hit, the rockers will leave their own clearance indentions in the covers, no harm done.

LOL! Hey I finally saw a 2.8 Fiero in a junkyard... I see what Karl (KED85) was saying about the linkage is on the wrong side. I was going to take it off just to see what was up but my back was already on fire (sunburned in the yard) and I just wanted to get the hell home.
