[Assuming you already have a cheap $20-$30 power invertor. ]
Walmart has a nice central air system designed for our cars at only $5.

THe fan really helps. YOu get a nice breeze that is not blowing you around. It was only 85 today but I was baking. Till I installed the central air in the walmart parking lot.
I do not have a head linner and even now that most of the car is in primer, it stil like sitting under an oven. The big back glass doesn't help much either.

oh *** yes, save the dash. Camaro third gen dash's are real expensive to replace, i had to replace one myself. when they are cracked, they look real bad. Be thankful you have a nice dash! That fan on the dash made me get cold shivers man.

Hug, not sure what your saying. THe 3 buttons together are for the rear defroster, the other two are just covers [ no buttons] and my red toggle switch for my fan that never gets used.
[car never get hot enough to turn it on]
Gauge on the dash is a vacuum gauge hooked into my EGR circut.
