Conrod direction on a 2.8L

I marked my conrods before I removed them from the block 1-6 but should have also marked them for the direction they were facing. My manual doesn't speak of this but I know the boss above the rod big end 1-3-5 faces one direction and the boss on 2-4-6 faces the opposite. Right? Be my hero and tell me which direction they face. 1-3-5 boss facing foward or the rear? 2-4-6 boss facing foward or rear? Its a 1984 small journal 2.8L 2bl. HELP!!!!!!

Look straight down from the bottom of the rod you will see a rectangular boss on the big bore rod cap. On this rectangular boss(usually where people stamp numbers during rebuild) there is a slope side and a 90 degree side(3d) the sloped side always faces forward.

My bad about the chamfers its to hard to tell that way on a 60 v6 I was in small block mode

Anyways If you dont understand what it is Im talking about I may be able to post a picture.
