Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 3.73 posi
v6 ignigiton timing
just a quick question. can one of you tell me real quick what the proper timing degree is for the 3.1? its not listed in my haynes. (damn ripoff) i set it to about 8* advanced and it seems to work well. thanks

10 degrees btdc with engine warm.
The GM Shop Manual from http://www.helminc.com doesn't have the timing in it, either. It says to check the sticker under the hood. Of course, my sticker disappeared not one, but two hoods ago...
