machined off the neck, capped it, machined the top to accept the hollry

220 hp huh?........and I have the smoothest, most powerful & economical engine on this whole site

It is different though, wtf was first in my head, then the phrase "kinda gay looking" quikly took over.

That is one creative dude who is not afraid to think out side the box. That would easily solve the problem with using the better FWD heads and still have a nice tune port system wit hthe bennfits a carb does offer.

Very nice.

That's actually the iron head version, pirated from an F-body.

I still think I would have added some wires and made it EFI.

That design will also suk top end. Torque will increase, as the runers are a lot longer than a regular carb/tbi manifold, but even w/that amount of lift, I still call on 220hp.

actually a long runner intake will increase topend power. why do you think that the tunnel ram starts at 4500 and goes to 8500+? it will decrease low end torque. either way, it is ugly and probably doesn't run as well as a properly tuned MPFI. but my goodness, .510" of lift is alot for a little v-6.

I'm confused as to why he just didn't buy an intake manifold.

Plus he has 5 neg feedbacks, I wonder if it's all show on top and the fuel injection is still running under it. As far as the 220, well then our 3rd have 400 lol

Tom I emailed him to ask why he didn't, we will see! That manifold is doing nothing other then looking stupid, no air directors so each cylinder will not all have equal fuel mix from the carb.

That setup would somehow have to work, because where the throttle body bolts up is sealed off.

It looks like that carb is just photochopped on top of a 2.8/3.1 intake...
