v6 flowmaster hu?>?!!!!

well today i took the tips, cat and muffler off my v6 firebird and put it on my v8 camaro. the muffler was a flowmaster about a year old. anyway it sounds SO QUIET!! on this car, at idle it has a deep tone but when moveing or reving it has nothing she sounds stock. whats up with this??, when i had it on my firebird it sounded amazing and when i reved it she would sound mean but on this car sound like....well nothing.
how come??

stock CC on a V6 might be more restrictive (more backpressure = less noise from engine)

What series flows?

its not the stock cat its an aftermarket highflow cat. i dont what series the muffler is, when i got it i did not no anything about flowmaster i just said i wanted my v6 to sound mean and thats what they gave me lol. all the pipeing is 3" on this car, could this muffler be only for a v6 and make me loose power?

V6's and V8's use the same mufflers...no worries there.

If anything, you might lose a little bit of power with the 3" piping UNTIL you get more modifications..then, it will GAIN you power. My V8 has dual exhaust, 2.5" each, and when I first got it it was too much and I was down on torque...but with the new motor, heads, and cam, it works perfect now. I wouldn't ditch the piping...it's a good setup for future power.

Not sure what series it might be...there's probably a number on it that maybe you can run through Flowmaster's website...a part number maybe. Maybe it's a Delta Flow...I hear those are pretty quiet.

Wow, you got yourself one heck of a beast! For some reason I thought you had a 305..... Yeah, couldn't tell you what's up with that exhaust..should be loud as hell.

Yeah I have photos of the stang now....took em today. Got timeslips too, but they were disappointing...see the signature. I'll post 2 pics in here since ya asked...
