Doward, Need Update
I havent seen an update on your car in a little while.
Assume you got the chain fixed, and running fine?
How many miles on this new motor?
How soon tell the boost is installed back on?
We need info!!!!!!

LOL.... I can't hook up as it is! Still working out the finishing touches. Just started a new job, and still waiting on my first paycheck to come in (next Friday), pay bills, then get to work on the exhaust. Once the custom O2 housing, and 3" mandrel bent Jet Hot coated downpipe are completed, I've got to finish the custom FMIC, and route the intake lines.
Figure a month or so before she's under boost again. And then there's the fact that with my brakes and suspension in the weak state they are in, those are being pushed up the 'priority' list. I'm converting to 4 wheel disc brakes, dual piston aluminum caliper 12.5" LS1 setup. Once that's completed (1 paycheck + 2 days of work or so), I need to put in the 28 spline and SLP posi, with a set of lower control arms, and new front steering setup. I just replaced the centerlink, but the tie rod ends and ball joints still need to be done, with poly bushings throughout.
Yeah. 8 weeks, then she'll be under boost. Maybe with a '749 ecu conversion, depending on how she handles the 22pph (which still need to be sent in, and blueprinted) injectors.
The brakes are definetly the next thing on the list. Then the suspension/rear end, and then the turbo 'accessories' (fuel system, intake, and exhaust work) then the turbo itself.
Like I said, by the end of Feb, she should be running nicely, barring any unforeseen problems. Just in time for Gainesville Raceway to open back up

Oh yeah, got the chain fixed! I've got about 1000 miles on the new engine so far. Runs strong, but the exhaust is still killing it.

Nope, I'm saying the current turbo layout is not conductive to max performance. That will soon be remedied! :lala:

Not at all... I recall serious traction issues off the line, but from a 10mph roll, taking him nicely.
Posi coming soon... TechSmurf, how's your setup going? We'll have to blast down the track together sometime!

I've got a friend who's been doing turbo fabs for the past year getting ready to move, and he decided to burn his remaining parts supply and some of his time on my car. If all goes well, I should have an ET Jan 17... digging around for the hose barb for the oiling system right now so I can get that hooked up.

oh, actual status report on the car.. heh. AC and electrical reroute complete. Heater hoses removed for reroute, need new hoses. TB coolant removed, awaiting hoses to route into turbo. Turbo manifold was about 30% complete last time I saw it.. could be awaiting bolt-on by now for all I know. Intercooler modification complete, awaiting bolt-on... all in the past week.
Still need to drop tranny and replace seals, mount new front tires. Downpipe to main exhaust is going through a shop, so time on that will depend on $$.
