This sound like the ECM?

Car: 89 f-bird and some others
Engine: 3.4
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.42
This sound like the ECM?
regulator is good. Now there's no spark. Disconnected the msd6a and still nothing from coil.
Checked for codes. Nothing except for the usual 12
Fuel pump primes normally, but when I turn the key off the pump runs again for about 10 seconds. (Normally was about 1 sec)
Also when I checked for spark from the coil with the screwdriver trick there was nothing until my dad turned the key off then I got shocked.
I'm thinking about getting an ecm from the yard for $35 and trying it.
After that, I might tow it to a shop.

hate to break it to you, but a bad ECU should not cause a no-spark condition on these cars.. the only link between the distributor and ECU is the EST.. disconnect that, and the ECU is eliminated from the equation and there will be base timed spark. You're barking up the wrong tree. Try ICM, Coil, Cap/Rotor, Loose wires, pickup coil...

ICM, yeah i remembered as I was walking out the door. I forget things when i'm super pissed. distributor didn't look too good, but now the rotor is cracked from removal so I must wait till tomorrow to try stuff again.
IF ya getting a flaky ICM I'll bet your alternator is throwing a high voltage spike & shorting it out.
Happened to me about 7 times so far.
Been thru couple alternators but way more ICM's.
While your distributor is being "touched up" make sure your base is clean, the one or two base vent holes are cleared out, then apply the fresh dielectric grease.
PS There is NO performance ICM for our V6 application. When I went thru my ICMs, I tried every brand possible. I now go for cheapest priced one (@$28).
