the dipstick broke when we were moving from one trailer to the other.

Engine also tipped over soon as we pulled out the lot. So it rode home on its side.

Dale! You mean with all old tires dumped by the roadside in Arkansas you couldn't find one to haul the motor on ?

Last V6 block I got from somebody was delivered in the trunk of an '89 IROC

actually, since they started the highway pickups, and using prisoners to pick up trash, our roads have started to appear better.

Havent seen tires or appliances on side of road in few years. Mainly cans, cups, bags now, and even some of that has went down some too.

I know what you talking about though

Yep, having driven around the southeastern US a bit I have found southeastern Louisianna to be the most trash ridden place I have been- got an old refirgerator or TV to get rid of? Why just throw it on the side of the road, drive by a week later it's till there- only shot full of holes!

Anyway to giive tech content I have to say the tire works marvelously for hauling an engine- I still like it tied down with ratchet straps, so if you make a panic stop it doesn't come flying forward and decapitate you. I guess you hauled it on a trailer seeing as you sold your trucks.

correct, trailer it was. Who says a GP isn't suppose to tow?

It did just fine expect for gas. Engine came strapped on a pallet. But had to take them off and take with seller.

BTW project, pm me your address so I can send you some of this shipping stuff.
