clicking injectors after shut down?

Ok my runs great but i have noticed after i shut it off i hear what sounds like the injectors clicking. Like in order, the noise slows to a stop after like 6 seconds. I first thought it was heat tick, like when your motor is hot and you shut it down sometimes you hear a tick sound, but it sounds like the injectors.

Like i said the car runs good, any ideas? Simular symtoms?

never heard of this one b4, when i read it i was thinkign heat tick too, metal expanding and now contracting....woudn't expect the injectors to continue firing after power has been killed to the computer, seems a lil off...or maybe it just seeems a lil off to me.

I thought it was heat tick too untill i started the car, ran it for 10 seconds and shut it off and heard the same sound, all in 35* weather. The injectors is the closest i can come to explaining what it sounds like, it even sounds as if they are clicking in firing order.

Let's see if this pc works this time....
The injectors don't fire in the timing order, they are a batch feed, which means the ECM just provides a ground for them at the proper time on one bank at a time and they fire.... If you have your Haynes handy you will see what I mean-they are wired in parallel so they all go off at the same time when the ECM provides the ground....

That's what my ride was doing after the "Great Fire of '03" , when the harness got fudged up

Car even shut down on me 3 times and still did that clicking crap, even w/key out of ignition.
