New record times, again!
went to the 1/4 mile tonight. if you remember, was previous best was a 15.31 @ 88 mph. tonight, after only changing rear gears from 4.10 to 3.73 and changing to a flowmaster muffler, i ran a best of 15.13 still @ 88 mph! i was shooting for high 14s, even a 14.99 but i guess i can't complain about gaining right at 2 tenths! videos to come.... video of my beating my friend's dakota r/t, supercharged, off the line... pulling clear infront of a Z06 corvette till about half way through the 1/8th... and more (maybe)...

What converter are you runnin?
I was told by a drag builder that a conversion could let you pick up a few tenths at least. I was told he built a motor for a guy that ran 14.7's, he put a 3200 stall behind it and dropped into the 14.1 second range. That's friggin amazing! You are border line 14's, maybe on a cold day.........

i've got a 2200 in it. a little more convertor probably wouldn't hurt it but this 2200 is better than the stock one was.

2200's probably just fine.....you could probably run a 2500, but then you don't wanna over-stall it.
Awesome run man....you're SO close to 13's. All you gotta do is nail it down. Wait for a cold day and do some tweaking. Pump a little race fuel in it...some unleaded stuff, they sell 110 unleaded here...maybe a 60-40 or 70-30 mix, and get the timing up a little higher... And get some good tires, deflated to like 20 or 25 psi in the rear and 40 psi in the front.
To have a 14 second V6 F-Body.....N/A....well, that'll probably impress the hell out of anybody that knows anything about these cars.

i can't wait til i can post the video of my pulling a new vette Z06 off the line! some guy came up to me at a gas station right after i left the track saying that he had a camaro just like mine, white/blue pearl but he had a 305 in it. he didn't say if he had even run it before but he saw me running at the track. him and his buddies were impressed.
