what is the most powerful cam i can put in my 3.1 firebird?

can i put 17pph injectors in my car and can i use a 2.8 cloyes double roller timming chain an 2.8 crane magnum roller tip rockers in my 3.1?

 

That all depends on what compression you want to run? Are we talking leaving it stock 8.5:1, 9.1:1, Have pistons made for 10:1, or even a radical 13:1 with racing fuel. Do you care if your brakes work or not from lack of vacuum (in otherwords, do you plan on adding a remote vacuum pump), any smog laws there?, do you intend on having a custom prom burned?

Most powerful, or most powerful without changing anything? I assume the second. Go with a single profile .440"/.440" with 1.6 rockers. It will still be computer friendly.
