I know KED85 & TomP have done it. Who else has moved/relocated thier coil to a cooler place?

GM distributorless ignition system. The "coil pack" fires at the direction of the cars computer based upon input information received from the crankshaft position sensor. I agree very cool to see in an F-body.
Nice 3800 V6!

you might as well do a comlete 3.4 DIS swap liek Dale did in his show truck. THe 3800 came w/the pcm & harness, along w/the tranny (which is getting replaced soon). IF you do get the intakes/harness/pcm/egr w/tube, you could put it on a 2.8/3.1, but why not just get the whole THING

I know of a COMPLETE 3.4 setup for sale , plus, if someone does do the full conversion w/an original VSS speedo, they'll have a lot less wiring issues than I have.

SO, does this mean that no ne else has done an aftermarket/stock coil in a non stock location????

Oh yea I have an accell coil moved up the the cowl/fire wall lip.

It was as far as the stock wires would reach and nice n high away from all that heat.

Two bolt in the back of it are plenty to hold it steady.
