Anyone know the GM part number for the MAF style 2.8L MPFI PROM ? I can't find it anywhere, and the guys at the dealership aren't being helpful.

I just called my dealership because I they know me by name. They said for an 86 v6 mpfi their are 4 pages of prom chip partnumbers. You need to do as shannon did and take them your current one to duplicate it. Or just have a custom one made.

4 pages...crap! Yeah that wil probably mean mine might work, but might not. Take out your stock one & let them match it! And any GM dealer can help. So if the Pontiac place is being a pain, go to the Chevy place... I always went to the Chevy place. They teazed me about bringing a Pontiac over when Pontiac was 2 doors down...

For $10 + shipping I'll sell you my 86 ecm w/the 85 PROM chip. Don't seem to need it anymore for some reason
