replaced my heater core........

first off id like to puplicly thank David aka FAST RS he has been a great help as he got me a new heater core and sent it to me in the uk, saved me nearly $100 as they cost around £95 in the uk and by marking it as a gift i didnt have to pay any tax over here.
anyway i fitted the new core this afternoon and i must say i didnt have any trouble with it. it went in easy first time. iv heard people refering to this job as a "pita" what does that mean anyway???
so now my car is nice and warm again, good job as its -1* in the mornings now.
Nick

dont feel bad when i first got on the net about 7 years ago we had to ask what all the little things meant....like "lol, lmao, etc...."

hahaha better to ask and know than to sit there scratching your head wondering what the heck does that stand for ...LOL

Most labor manuals quote the job at about 6 hours. Glad you got through it! I will be doing mine soon, too.

Anybody feel like posting a very quick rundown of how to remove the heater core? Mine is seeping and I will have to do it soon. Man, everytime I work on my car, I find 2 other things that are wrong with it.

Glad it worked for ya. IT took me 11 hours to do mine but that included trying to find a ride to the part store and get the correct heater core since i was sold the wrong one.
