There is a kit available. COntact Doward for details, great performance boost for your dollar.

The kits are going to run about $2900, plus shipping (depends on where you are, lol!)

Yes, the kits will increase your hp +100 over stock, as long as you have a well tuned, good running car. I went from 140hp @ the flywheel, to 255hp. And the kits will include a slightly bigger turbo, for slightly more power

we cannot stress enough that the engine must be in good condition.. the turbo doesnt hurt it, its just if someone with 190K on their engine puts a turbo on, and cranks it to 20 psi, you know they're gonna come at us with a complaint.. the kits are the product of MANY days/nights/long beerless weekends of R&D and we've pulled things off a couple of times to replace it with something better.. (metal for rubber, better bends, etc) we can break down an entire inventory list if need be. dyno and soon real track (with traction) times will show how effective these huffers can be.

100 hp is a TREMENDOUS power increase, giving a baseline of only 135-140...... Christ....

You guys rock. These V6's are gonna be pulling on 5.0's now... I hope you guys make this big! I'd love to see a bunch of little turbo sixers running around.

Hell, I might just buy me another 3.1....

Already proved that, too Took down a '88 GTA 350 TPI at the track, with a bad launch!

The kits WILL be available for the 3.1s, as well!

How much to install them? Depends on where you are, and what kind of rates shops charge you. I honestly couldn't say.

Turbo
Intercooler
Wastegate
BOV (another point for the '730 swap - you can use one that vents to atmosphere, for that PSSHH sound we all love)
all exhaust piping (Y pipe to turbo)
all intercooler piping
30pph injectors
new ECU reprogrammed for BOOST!!!
Depending on how it all ends up, in my own MAF vs MAP debate, either a new MAF, or a new 2 bar MAP sensor.

Pretty much everything I can think of, to make this a bolt-n-go system.

Intake will be ground-up replaced regardless due to turbocharger and intercooler placement. Probably using a cone filter.

For optimal power gains you'll want to pick up a good flowing mandrel bent 2.5"-3" from wherever Doward's piping ends on back. Ditch the stock crossflow muffler, need something open. High flow cat will help, though durability is debatable (question for the exhaust board as to which stand up best). This is optional, but without decent exhaust, your experiences may vary from those who do have a good open exhaust.

Cooling system should be just fine, but if you want to play it safe I'd reccomend going with a 180 degree thermostat (high-flow if available) or drilling a small hole or two in the stock 195 (drilling will cause warm-ups to take longer, but consider that you're getting extra heat from cooling the turbo, so warm-ups might be faster anyway. the hole will help keep water moving and decrease the probability of hot-spots developing). Again, optional. For durability's sake, since under boost you'll be applying alot of extra heat to the system, it's a good idea, but I doubt Doward or I have done a whole lot to our cooling systems, and you don't see us complaining... yet...

Transmissions: Doward's WC-T5 appears to be holding up nicely (although his first clutch didn't). My T5 (circa '84) is not holding up as nicely, but it hasn't snapped in half (yet) and I don't think it's had a rebuild in its life, so most blame goes to lack of maintainence (and I'm not sure I even want to look at the clutch). Pre-88 700R4... if you're not religious, pick one before installing the kit. 88-up 700R4, probably be okay longer than the Pre-88 and should leave you with a few months to pick the religion that's right for you.

For what it matters, I meant 5.0 Fords. Or GM 350's (to exclude the LS1 and some LT1's)...they perform about equally when it all boils down...

Either way, this is going to be a BIG step for all 3rd gen owners.

Actually, I won't... I'm not planning on making any real money off this!

I'm doing this for the V6 community!

the dude said it like this:
"Actually, I won't... I'm not planning on making any real money off this!

I get the same story trying to crank out Titanium chasse parts.
But they will be for All 3rd gens and most 4th gens.
I'm most likely going to make one or 2 at a time at first and announce it on the bords and put them on ebay and let people fight over them that way.
After I expand the operation, buy more tools and buy more Titanium for a bigger in house stock of with more choices There won't be much $ left over.
I think I found some non automotive appications where Can make more $$ per pound of titanium.
Buying Titanium welding wire for $150 per pound is the biggest buzz killer so far.
