Underdrive Alternator Pulleys?

Do they really have an adverse effect on electrical functioning?
My car really does not have anything special like a system or anything...Dont even have a CD Player
The kit I was looking at, said full charge is at 1100 RPM.
Does that sound alright?

Stay with crank only (900rpm?) unless its a highly raced only car.

Actully just the crank pulleys are 900 RPM Full chargers...But does 200 RPM really make a huge difference?

you'd be suprised...200 rpm makes a MAJOR difference in charging output. If you don't make >12v, then you are drawing back from the battery. Stay with the crank pully only.

I do have an aftermarket Bosch Alternator...Not too sure how many amps it puts out.

I have the alt and crank set that provides a full charge at 1100 RPM. I have been running them for well over a year now and have had no problems. Only effect I have been able to tell is at night with the head lights on and at idle they will dim slightly, but only slightly. once I start rolling they brighten back up.

I put a high demand on my electrical system and still have no problems.

Have installed the following and have all turned on at once with no ill efects.

1.) Dome light with map lights.
2.) Auto drakening rear view mirror with map lights.
3.) Power antena.
4.) Power door locks.
5.) Fog lights.
6.) Funny yellow light under dash pad to left of the center air vents. Don't know what else to call it, but it comes on and lights up the ash tray when the head lights are on. Found on a camro in the scrap yard. I found a matching hole in the same location in my dash to put it in.
7.) CD player with amp.

I have turned all of these on including high beams and left the door open so all interior lights would come on and put my volt meter on my battery. I even had my wife operate the door locks and antena. It measured 12.84 volts. Not optimal, but not bad for pulleys that give a full charge at 1100 RPM.
