ADD TO ME: Timeslips!
I think it would be nice to keep a database of people's timeslips and modifications at the time of the run. Would help people get a picture of what to expect from their car. I'd prefer some kind of semi-uniform format for this, since it will be linked to the "What will my car run?" part of the FAQ. This is a bare minimum format... if someone feels like updating the format to look better or be more functional, please, have at it.
Year/Model/Trim
Engine/Transmission
Modifications (even as little as a few degrees of advanced timing)
60', 1/8, and 1/4 ET/MPH
Altitude+Track Conditions (If you're posting times from a G-TECH, mention it here)
Your feelings on how you did and why.
I'd start the thread off, but my car still won't make it to a track

(i'll have to dig out the 1/8th mile stuff)
15.402 @ 98.37 mph
1st and 2nd gear totally useless due to traction issues.

60': 2.541 worst of the night...

track is 1000ft above and it was about 60degrees out.
this was shifting at 5000rpm at every gear(ended up shifting into 4th at the very end
) with half a tank of gas and about 100lbs of audio equipment completly stock. and no traction..sucky track prep.... so yea im thinking good launch and ive upgraded my wires and new plugs and a few other parts new i think i can pull a 16.5-7 or better now
... well see once i get a new windshield im gonna go back for another try

You might want to put enigne milage as well since a 235,000 mile engine will just suck like my engine is begining to.

Oh ok then:
On a 3.4L with 700r4 Auto+shiftkit, hedders, cut-out, and Crower Baja Beast cam (204/214 and .44 lift or so). Open 3.42 rear on crappy tires:
60'- 2.1685
330'- 6.4104
1/8- 10.0241
mph- 67.23
This is untunned, at 10* timing, running very rich, with full weight and 3/4 tank of gas.

this was back in april. i wasnt happy with my R/T at all. i was at 16 degrees timing on premium and it seemed to love it. this is also before the headers and LCA relocation brackets. not that it would make a huge difference but.... im hoping to get a Mellings MTC5 cam in (dowards cam) before i go again and my trans is coming out in 2 weeks to be rebuilt with a centerforce dual friction clutch and if the moneys there, a 5.0 short throw shifter. that should put me into the high 15s. plus ive deleted some weight from the car since my last run.

Bone stock 3.1 automatic, 3.23 peg leg, street tires, dirty air filter.
195,310 miles (this was in '03, car now has 203,000)
68 degrees ambient air, at sea level. !70lb driver and 130 lb passenger in the car.
R/T .597
60' 2.36
1/8 MPH 63.46
1/8 ET 10.85
The nearest 1/4 mile track is four hours drive, but using the 1/8 to 1/4 conversion of multiplying the ET by 1.56, it's a 16.92 quarter mile. Pretty much average for a high mile 3.1 car. Losing the passenger and a tuneup may have given me a tenth and a half or so.

I have never ran an "official" 1/4 in this car but have stated in the past that I and a friend ran a "known" chaulked-off back industrial street 1/4 mile run with back to back unofficial 15.8 then 15.9 @ aprox 83mph. I had the 3.42's in it at the time.
I just popped by it yesterday evening and by myself registered about a 77mph in the car with the 3.23's and larger 13" fronts 12.2" rears brake rotors- more rotation weight. I have reclibrated the speedo properly when I reduced the gears so it is reading accurate. I figure I must be about a 16.2 now with the gear change I made about a year back but it is much better for 2-3rd gear road course use with the 700r4. Just a better mph range while at speed.
Edit:Oh yes, I did this for fun because I just had the first prototype B & M shifter gate installed on my car last monday and wanted to give the gate assembly a good fair run through at full throttle @ 5800K shifts. It retros into and works with the factory shifter assembly. I ran the entire 1/4 at the top of 2nd gear- went into 3rd(drive) after crossing the line.

Having just pruned half the thread away, I suppose I should mention this is just for databasing so new members can quickly read through it to figure out what they can expect from modifications...
