Turbo GP Update!
Ok guys, I've heard back from all but LinuxGuy and Roland - need to know what's going on from you two
I got the $650 together, and the downpayment on the intercoolers is complete.
I need to hear from anyone else interested - we are still 3 people short!!
T61 is officially IN.
Thursday is the ceramic coating, and the new up-to-date-latest pics on the complete turbo kit

This isn't with the T61, but I finally found a pic!!
Differences between this and what you get -
You get :
bigger turbo (57 trim T3/t4 vs 16g)
Actual silicone TURBO connectors for the intake piping
I know you can't see it, but the 38mm wastegate IS there
BRACKETS.
2.5" piping, all the way
Stainless steel oil lines
TurboXS R34 Racing Bypass Valve (not my $50 Ebay special)
What you don't get:
16G (
)
wire to tie the pipes back (
)
2" intake piping (
)
Wastegate set for 6psi, out of the box. I just got my -3AN conversion fittings, so I can get the oil lines in this weekend!!
Basically, you get what you pay for - rather than getting what I could afford at the time

I'd also point out, that what you see is EXACTLY WHAT I HAD ON THE DYNO that knocked out the 255/334 numbers.

i can't speak for doward (too much,
) but, i think the pacesetter headers would work fine....he just needs to fab up a y-pipe to go with them.

Correct, I will be making a different Y pipe, as soon as I get my hands on a set of the PS headers.

OK guys, I heard back from 2 people, and they are having to back out, for various personal reasons (hey, it happens
)
So now we're at 5. There's 11 days left on this... I'm going to talk to all my various contacts, and see if this can still go on, with only 5 people
Now, the question is, are the 3 people from these boards DEFINETELY in?
1) eric17422001
2) roland
3) hockeyplyr70
4) hockeyplyr70
roland, I still haven't heard back from ya, man... what's going on?

I'm in for an intercooler, the pipework (Y-pipe, turbo flange, inlet piping) and all related bracketry.
In other words, all the F-body V6 specific parts that have to be fabricated. As it is, I won't hit a lick towards the actual installation of these parts in 2005, but would like to have them. I need to freshen up the engine at the least.

Ok, someone fill me in on the deal. A complete turbo kit, is that what I hear? I may be aquiring a completely stock v6 firebird on friday, so that wouldnt be a bad addition. Would I need any other major parts to make it perform decent? How much? Someone fill me in on whats goin on. Thanks.

Yep... and considering the turbo almost doubles the stock power, it's not a bad upgrade at all
